KST Presents: A Practical Introduction To OBS

As part of Kelly Strayhorn Theater’s artist professional development series titled “Working”, I presented an introduction to Open Brodcasting Software (OBS). Thank you to Sondra, Ben, Joseph, Margo, and all of my other wonderful friends at KST for having me. OBS is an amazing tool for everyday nerds, office workers, teachers, and artists. Yes, some people are doing advanced streams with it; however, many people also use it to tweak their webcam feeds for Zoom calls. I frequently use it to get a lower third with my company contact info onscreen with my webcam whenever I Zoom with people.
