Hybrid & Studio Streaming
Streaming is here to stay. Some customers choose to stream because of COVID-19. Others have chosen to stream to reach a wider audience for their art. Corporate clients now have remote workers around the country or world that they want to include in company events. Some folks want to make sure that the show they worked hard at also hits Facebook so that more people can get excited about their art, products, or ideas. We love streaming and hybrid events but they can be a challenge. The lighting design for a hybrid event needs to serve both the human eye and the camera’s sensor. Every scenic and costume decision has to factor in the camera. We strive to create a streaming experience that simulates what an audience member would be looking at during the event. Our camera operators, switcher, graphics operator, and video director all work together with the audio, lighting, and stage management teams to ensure that both audiences receive the best content you have to offer.
Standard Services
Lighting
Lighting is critical to the camera. We can use a venue’s lighting system, bolster that lighting system for a specific project, or set up something totally portable. Each event type has different lighting requirements to make sure that it is successful and beautiful!
Audio
When the audio is good, people barely notice. When the audio is bad, EVERYONE notices. We help our customers use the correct microphones, wireless frequencies, and digital mixers to ensure the highest quality sound available using the resources and budget you have. Beyond hardware, the audio engineers we work with know the tricks to ensure things sound amazing on any device.
Directing & Video Direction
Knowing what you want isn’t the same as knowing how to get it. We can help by translating your ideas into actionable directives for the talent, crew, and hardware. This can be a director, assistant director, or a full creative team.
Our video directors ensure that each camera knows what they need to be doing and when they need to be doing it using our dedicated wireless communications system. They also coordinate the graphics, audio, and switcher operators to make the livestream look like premium live TV.
Scenic Design & Acquisition
Some projects need mobile stages and pipe & drape. Others need classy corporate furniture and podiums. We can help you find, rent, transport, and return these items for your event.
Musicals, plays, and TED talks can call for an entire set. We have folks who can help design, draft, build, paint, move, and assemble these scenic elements.
Live Camera Units
A live event requires multiple cameras and competent camera operators. Our DPs (Director of Photography) can ensure that the crew select the right lens, teleprompter, camera body, and other equipment to capture all the best angles. Using advanced wireless communications headsets, we can coordinate all of the camera operators and studio crew to ensure a tight and smooth production.
Prerecord & Drone Camera Units
You can’t unveil your new corporate headquarters without some B-Roll and drone footage! Some content requires an interview ahead of time. Other streams need sponsor commercials and partner spotlights. We can help with the prerecorded content that is played back during your stream. We even have an FAA Licensed UAS Pilot and a 4K drone to capture amazing B-Roll imagry.
